THINGS THAT LAST

Polish highlanders, 2015 Their attitude to nature resembles the relationship between the leaf and the tree. Ultimate harmony and ultimate dependence. Highlanders believe that they had been created by the mountains, which forged their identity. They live for them, they live on them. This is a little appreciated phenomenon of contemporary Europe. Current trends promote uniformity. We adapt ourselves to others, convinced that after all, we are all the same. It ...

ATMOSPHERE OF KINDNESS

OVERWHELMED BY THE ATMOSPHERE OF KINDNESS I studied this land from the photos taken by my respectable friends who fell in love with the Podlaskie voivodship in Poland. When I arrived here in winter, at the beginning of 2011, these pictures, kept in my memory, proved true when confronted with reality. I was enchanted with the beauty of the landscape, but then, its splendor didn’t surprise me. So I thought that much ...

Poland is changing fast and many of my photographs depict tasks, places and objects  which are becoming the thing of the ...
