Lamalera, a fishing village on the outskirts of civilization - island of Levaeba, Indonesia. Invariably, whales have been fishing here for over 600 years. Their meat serves as a community food, which has more than 3,000 people today. Founded by Dutch missionaries 6 centuries ago Lamalera, remains the only Catholic village on the island, which in its entirety, as well as the greater part of Indonesia is a Muslim.
